Steinbock Zero is the alcohol-free Riesling range by J. Hofstätter, a family winery from Tramin in South Tyrol with a winemaking history dating back to 1907. The family’s passion for Riesling extends beyond Italy to Germany’s Mosel region, where the historic Dr. Fischer estate became part of the Hofstätter family in 2014.
In 2020, Martin Foradori Hofstätter began producing dealcoholised still and sparkling wines, bringing the winery’s combination of tradition and innovation into the alcohol-free category. Steinbock is made from Riesling and gently dealcoholised using vacuum distillation at low temperatures, without chemical additives. This process is designed to retain the wine’s primary aromas, fresh acidity and characteristic minerality.
The result is a fresh and approachable alcohol-free wine range with citrus notes, balanced acidity and the lively character associated with Riesling — suitable for aperitifs, food pairing and celebrations.
