Avaa Verjus was founded in Berlin by Benjamin, Edward and Jakob, united by an interest in exceptional food, regional ingredients and new ways of creating flavour. Their focus is verjus: the juice of grapes harvested before they fully ripen, traditionally used for its fresh, gentle acidity.
Avaa is produced from handpicked organic grapes from Germany’s wine region Pfalz, including varieties such as Riesling and Pinot Noir. Its crisp acidity, subtle fruit and natural grape character make it versatile in drinks, food pairing and cocktails.
The same world of flavours inspired VOLÉE, an alcohol-free Apéritif Naturel created by Jakob and Benjamin. Based on an old French family recipe, VOLÉE combines Chardonnay grape juice and verjus with grapefruit, mountain peach, elderflower, bitter orange and damiana to create a refreshing, fruity and gently bitter aperitif.

Avaa Verjus Original is made from handpicked organic unripe grapes from Pfalz. Notes of fresh grapes, green apple and grass meet crisp acidity and a subtle natural sweetness.
